Stock head unit to amp

I want to connect my stock headunit to a 2-channel amp that I already have. I was wondering if that was possible. I want to power the speakers from the amp, not the head unit. The amp doesn't have speaker inputs, and I don't think the head unit has pre-outs. Is this possible? Thanks.
