I have been trying all day to install new carpet in my 2007 Silverado Reg Cab. I bought the fitted carpet from rock auto. I was able to remove everything rather easily. I have the jute padding down. The carpet just doesn’t want to go forward to the firewall. I know that some trimming is required but this isn’t even close. I have been doing this by myself but a friend is stopping by tomorrow. Maybe an extra set of hands and eyes will help. I became frustrated and almost just put it back together with carpet or padding. Kinda like going commando. Does any body have a ideas that might help me finish this?

I love my old carpets, that’s why didn’t want to throw them away. I was thinking about what I can do to make them look better. I washed them several times, patched them by myself, but it didn’t really help. When I was almost done and ready to give up, a friend of mine advised contacting a carpet repair company. Since I had already nothing to lose, I called the guys and am thankful to my friend for the advice given at the right time. My lovely carpets look like new ones. Don’t get me wrong, it was a gift from a dear person which I want to preserve as long as possible.
