2017 Silverado black screen

Hey all, 

 

A few days ago my main screen on the truck went black. I've read through a few forums and most say that they can still control audio through steering wheel... Unfortunately that's not working for me...

 

Also the backup camera is still working but I'm not getting any audio AT ALL, through the radio, turn signal, etc... Looking to make appt at the dealership however would like to avoid the cost. 

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to replace the entertainment system HMI module. Had similar issues and they had to replace it. Haven't had a problem since. Was covered under warranty.
