Tire sizes for 2.5 RC leveling kit

Hello I’m new to the site..I got my 2015 Silverado 1500 leveled with the RC 2.5 kit and now I need tires. So far I’ve made my mind on some Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I’m stuck on what size to go for. I’m keeping my stock 17” wheels and RC recommends 285/70r17 but I’ve seem some guys running 285/75r17 or so they say. I know no truck it’s alike but I would like to see if anyone it’s running something similar if not the same. And how did it affect your truck. Thank you!

Do a "tire size with 2.5 lift" search. This topic is heavily discussed, you will find a lot of information. Be sure to search the main forum and the mods subforum as well. Also, check the "Pictures of lift" type threads. It'll show you what guys are running.

 

Basically, you're looking at a 34 x 11 tire. BASED ONLY ON READING THIS FORUM, I'm thinking you have some rub issues coming with a 2.5 lift.

33x12.5x20 will work great with no rub

You should be fine with with 285/75r17 if you stick with the stock wheels

I’m running 285/55/22s which are about 34.3”.

There was a bit of rub but nothing some quick trimming didn’t fix.
