Does anyone know how to replace the cargo/3rd brake light bulbs in a 2019 Silverado?  I want brighter cargo lamps and have no idea how to get into the housing.

Did it on my '18 a few weeks ago, cargo and reverse lights, all 4 are now LED.  Did they change the style?

Had to pop off the screw covers, unscrew it, carefully/gently pull it out of the cab, and simple swap of the bulbs.  I had to play with the left cargo light a few times, before it worked, and then I put it all back together.  I treat all bulbs like halogens, use something to hold them with, so you don't get any body oils or anything on them.

Did you figure out how to pop it off?

What does it consist of to remove the back portion of the headliner in a 2019 Silverado Custom? My third brake/cargo bed light assembly is sealed with no screw located on the outside and I’m trying to replace the stock bulbs with a brighter LED bulb.
