Was Driving next to an SSR last Thursday night

So, I'm coming home from working out and building my manly muscles. When I'm driving down Raymond Dr. in Naperville. The next intersection I see this odd looking red truck thing pull out (odd in the term that I've never seen one on the road before). Then I realize it's an SSR. So naturally I utilize the power of the Big Block to catch up to it. Sure enough, it's an SSR with the top/roof down, two knobs driving it, and Illinois "MFR" plates. That's Manufacturer in case you didn't know. So I'm betting that it was a test truck dropped off to the Chicago bureau of one of the auto rags.

It had a rather tall profile from the rear. But then again, it may just take some time getting used to it's shape on the road. All the ones I've seen were pre-production and show models and I saw them close up. Not at a distance of two blocks initially.
