mitchely03 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Understood, but I guess my main question iS Are the people using the catch can still using AFM? Who is using a catch can WITH AFM? Who is using a catch can WITHOUT AFM? People who are using a catch can WITHOUT AFM, What did you notice the most?

I'm still using AFM, I don't think there's going to be much difference whether AFM is enabled or not. There is a catch can thread - or maybe two - both are enormous and I believe many people on those threads have disabled their AFM.
WS6FirebirdTA00 Posted April 16, 2019 Author Posted April 16, 2019 Mine is disabled, FWIW. Catch can comes Friday.
WS6FirebirdTA00 Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 For those asking, install a catch can... This is after about 50 miles. Elite E2 mounted at the washer reservoir. 6800 miles on the truck. I was on it a lot those 50 miles. I did Seafoam to hopefully run through the same path as the oil to clean the accumulation in the manifold. I can still smell the slightest oil burn at idle. My WS6 decel always gave me a good whiff, but idle vacuum was poor with the cam. I can see a decent fog when I pull the can off, so I assume at idle some of this lights stuff just passes through. I will see how much it catches this week, about 250 miles of driving.
