silverado man
I'd be taking a little vacation if it were heading toward's me. Just so that I can get out of town and not have to worry about my truck getting damaged.
Bruce03Silverado
I'd be taking a little vacation if it were heading toward's me. Just so that I can get out of town and not have to worry about my truck getting damaged. Understood, but I honestly have no where to go. All our relatives are too far away. I am having my mom, who lives alone, come with us and I also have 3 german shepherds so I have no idea where I could go that would take all of us including our three shepherds! The Mustang and Firehawk will be in the garage and I hope they will stay safe as well...especially the Firehawk.
greyghost03
I will be keeping a close eye on this one! If it gets into the Gulf of Mexico it will prob gain some more momentum, at least that is what the warm waters of the Gulf usually do to storms. Here in Louisiana we got lucky with the last hurricane that really threatened us as it basically died as soon as it made landfall. Lets hope Isabel does the same! clk7711
You East Coast guys be safe. We had hurricane Claudette in mid July hit the Texas coast and that was only a Cat 1 and we were out of power for 5 days!

Black02Silverado
Well I hope it doesn't hit. We just bought a generator so that will be our ticket that it will not hit. Spend big cash on one and not get to use it but hey, I'm not complaining. Fran was enough for me, not to mention all the flooding from Floyd. Seems that Wilmington is a big hook on the East coast and picks the hurricanes right out of the Atlantic and throws them right up I-40. I still have some trees left from Fran and the others. I would like to keep them. The Impala is in the garage but there are a few huge trees by the shed on the neighbors side of the line. Just hope that if they fall they fall the other way. I have no place to put all my toys and tools. As wet as this year has been the ground will not hold much and trees will just tumble right over. Everyone else on the East coast stay safe. At least it is down to a Cat 3 now.
Jersey Tahoe LT
I live in Jersey and they are all saying we are gonna get it as well. I am not to used to this stuff. Not sure how to handle it if it does his. As in do I go to work? Or do I stay home. There are a few big trees over our house but not the driveway. I hope it isn't that bad. Yea it is a Cat 3 now but they say it can still gain power over the warmer waters near Fla. Oh well it should be interesting to say the least. It is not often that us north east people have to deal with what the Carolinas deal with. And Vice Versa in the winter time. Funny how everyone is kinda panicing. I guess my stupid carefree Don't give a F@*! attitude gets the better of me. What happens happens. Let it be big or let it go home. Don't do a half arse job. Well I am done now. SxViper
Hey you could be like me... I live right on the ocean in souther Maine... Waves should be picking up tonight or tommrow and we will get slamed hard... Road washed out only once this year that is between our house and the ocean... They had to use a front end loader to clear the road this winter when a Nor'Easter hit us... Storm surge is the worst part were going to get... May get some rain but not suppose to get the full force of this one... Got to stock up on gas for the generator... Good luck down south guys...
