Intermittent Hot Only Air

I have a 2004 silverado SS and my truck blows hot only air intermittently. It wont blow cool air & it wont blow AC air. Im in Canada so when set to hot its 32C and cool 15C. 

I have had my AC pump fail before & if the AC pump fails it should still blow cool air but not AC air. 

Then sometimes i will get in my truck & everything will work fine. Hot air will blow, cool air will blow, AC air will blow. 

Then ill get in my truck another time & back to the hottest air only. 

 

Would it be the blend door actuators ? or what else could it be?

Are you getting hot air on drivers side only? or all vents? 

 

My 2004 had the same problem but only on the driver side. Pulling the blend door actuator and cleaning the grease from the contacts solved the problem completely. Trouble free a year later. 

 

If this doesn’t solve the problem it could be your actual module if you have dual climate.
