Hi all.  Have a 2011 Sierra 1500 - 5.3.  Was looking for a locking gas cap.  The store man asked if the I needed a vented cap.  I don't know if the cap I have is vented.  Anyone know?

Should not be vented.

He's probably referring to a system where the evap has been deleted and thus there is a need to vent the pressure in the fuel tank.

Shame on the store man,he could have looked up what was oem,and went from there,but a forum gave you the help,forum good
