Don’t know if this has been covered since I couldn’t find anything on it.  Looking to do an oil change soon, and was wondering if there is a crush washer on a 2018 Tahoe or is it a rubber gasket built into the plug like that was on my 2002 Yukon?

Gasket/o-ring is on the plug.

If you're going to do your own oil changes for the future, one of the best things you can do is the addition/replacement of that plug with a Fumoto valve.  Flip the lever/drain the oil without it going everywhere.

Slip a piece of hose over the nipple and drain right into the jug for recycling.

Yeah I plan I doing my own maintenance. I go only to the dealership for warranty purposes. First their prices are insane and recommend services that aren’t really needed. Plus I don’t really like anyone working on my vehicles unless I have to. But thanks for the info

Just remember that the Fumoto valves add 2 additional points of failure: 1) they protrude and may catch debris.  I've had brake lines ripped out from exploded re-tread, no doubt the same would damage the valve 2) the valve itself leaking.  A valve certainty is that eventually they'll leak.  I only run magnetic plugs, so the valve eliminates that as well.

In all honesty, over decades of doing all my own work from engine rebuilts/swaps to body work to frame repair, I've never understood the claimed "ease" of a valve over loosening a drain plug... 10-15 seconds saved, tops  The messiest part is the oil filter anyway.

To each their own.

Sure, things happen that we have no control over.

I've been running Fumoto valves in all my vehicles since 2007 and have yet to see any road debris on the exterior of any of them.  The crossmember does a pretty good job of protecting the valves, and with the included lever lock, the chance of them opening inadvertently is really non-existent.  Being almost 75 years old, anything that makes good maintenance easier is a win in my particular opinion.
