2015 Chevy Silverado

Upgrading the small 4 inch radio to the 8 inch radio for a 2015 Chevy Silverado. I have hooked everything up but for some reason the screen isn’t coming on it will play music all the button lights are on. Could it be I’m missing something? Or the hmi module needing to be programmed?

I am not fully certain on this but no one seems to be taking a shot. I believe they need to be VIN programmed because of the OnStar stuff. Not sure if GM can do that or if you need to go somewhere in the aftermarket. Call your dealer and ask.

L86 All Terrain is on the right track.  I'd re-write my topic to attract more interest.  There are many members who have done this mod and willing to help.

Yep the HMI needs to be programmed to your specific VIN.  Your dealer should be able to do it or contact "GTPrix" or "th3magpi3" on these forums (they offer an aftermarket service).
