Ok so i just got done towing my 4,000lb camper through the midwest over the weekend after replacing the intake manifold.    Power feels much more responsive and strong.  MPG seems better towing too, i averaged about 9-10mpg towing at 65mph and that seems about right for my setup.  I was getting like 8-9

I was flipping p0101 constantly when accelerating and now I did it only once on way in and once on way back.   Frustrated but I get it wouldnt just magically disappear.

circumstances if tripping p0101 is this.   I tow for several hours to start the trip and pull into a gas station to refuel.  After fueling  up, i leave and accelerate to get into highway speed again,  p0101 trips as I pass 40mph to 55 or 65mph.   I clear the code and it doesnt reappear during the rest of my travels.

is this maybe a symptom of a clogged cat?  So basically I would get it a lot when accelrating uphill or accelrating in general, but now its this odd thing of only after accelrating after a brief stop to refuel.

Yeah, that's a range/performance code.

Cleaning it may do something but it may require a new OEM MAF sensor. Or possibly a new harness to go with it.

Get an oem one (or acdelco), as these vehicles seem to prefer them.  I bought a new third-party one from napa (no idea what the brand is, just not acdelco), and it would randomly generate p0101 codes on cold days during the winter here.  Put in a used acdelco from a parts truck I bought for the 4wd system, and haven't got another p0101 code since.
