Power steering loss

So I put in a system in my truck 2kicker 10s with 1000 watt amp sounds good btw . So my issue is my power steering loss it happens once I turn the truck off and restart it I have a new battery too so that’s not it . The truck has 97k it’s happened now twice before I did the system I had a smaller amp and had no issue what so ever . Now maybe I have it wired different . I got a 4 gauge amp kit one wire to the battery 4 gauge ground to a bolt the remote wire too a add a fuse in the fuse box. It’s not blowing any fuses either , if I turn the truck off  disconnect the battery wait a while it works fine .whats is y’all a thoughts . My powertrain warranty won’t cover it and my vin number isn’t part of that 690,000 truck recalled according to my local Chevy gmc dealer . I don’t know if the system could be the cause of the power steering loss or the remote wire

After letting my truck sit for 8 hours with battery disconnected I reinstall the cables fire the truck up and it’s got no power steering again says service power steering drive with care.

I was having a stiff wheel at low speeds on my 2014. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the negative battery cable under warranty. The power steering rack is electric so you might want to check there. Apparently it’s a fairly common problem.

Yes. My truck was still under the 36 month bumper to bumper warranty
