Issue with trailering app

I’ve only towed 4 times with my truck so far. The first 2 I had no issues with the trailering app. The third time it showed trailer not connected after hooking everything up. I was alone and already driving so figured it was maybe a fluke deal. I just towed for the 4th time last night and had my wife with me. Trailering app showed no trailer connected again. I had her jump out and the turn signals and brake lights worked on the trailer, but for some reason wasn’t registering in the app on the truck. Has anyone else experienced this yet and have an idea of root cause?

Just happened to me today.  3rd timer with new set up.  Truck off then on again fixed it but no chance yet to further analyze....

Check with your dealer there is a bulletin / reprogram of the trailer light control module that will probably solve most of your issues. I had it done and it solved most of my problems along with swapping lth bulbs on my trailer.
