TSB's

I have only been on this forum for about a week or two and I consistently see posts about roblems folks are having with their trucks....some are pretty consistent and have TSB's out, some don't.

 

 

I found TSB's for our trucks through 2002....I don't have 2003...I do have TSB's for the 4X4 service light and the steering shaft clunk....

 

If anyone would like these please send me an email or if someone knows where I can upload them to this site, I will do that as well.

So what does a TSB do exactly? The dealer knows about them, but they offer no help to the customer. If I were to go in for my clunk, they would just tell me "Yes, we have a bullitin on that" So what??

 

More of a "notice to dealers that you will have some pissed off people showing up because we built some faulty parts".

 

It will never happen, but as much as these trucks cost, I would like it for GM to pay for TSB problems!

It would be nice if GM paid for the TSB's. But they don't.

 

 

Your comment about the dealer knowing about them is exactly why WE should know about them.....I recently took mine in to have some of these things fixed and was basically denied...in addition to being lied to when I asked about the TSB's. So in my eyes it's important (if not more so) for the owner to be aware of them.
