Looking for ground by right side fuse box

moving my thinkware f800 dash cam from my 2017 2500hd denali to my 2020 2500hd denali and cannot find a ground close to the right side fuses to use for the ground connection. Anyone have suggestions where i can pick up a ground?

I hard wired my radar detector into the right side fuse box and for the ground I just put a self tapping screw in the bare metal behind the right side dash panel.

If you have a volt meter, put the positive on the fuse and use the negative to probe different pieces of metal until you find the piece with the highest voltage. That's your ground. Sometimes bare metal still only gives you 9-10 volts, not 13-14 volts. It depends on how that bare metal is connected to the rest of the truck. Low voltage can damage electronics.

i'm trying to hardware a dashcam as well.   which fuse do you tap into for power?
