The looks may not be for everyone I can tell you the AT4 headlights rock. They are different than the LED's in the LT Trail Boss and definitely brighter than the ones in the custom Trail Boss

It's clear as day on GM's website that black mirror caps are standard. If the dealer still tried to bullshit you I'd call GM corporate...
