Custom TB Grill

Has anyone taken apart the custom grill? I'm trying to figure out if the mesh between the Chevrolet letters can be separated and painted. I want it to look like this picture but I think the guy said he plasti dipped it and didn't take it apart.

That is correct. That's my truck. Tape off everything but the middle bar and inset letters. Plasti Dip the whole bar.  Peel off the plasti dip on the black bar.  Presto!!!

I figured out how to take it apart so I can paint the mesh.
