Is there an upgraded brake pad with no dust

I been going through all the brake pad topics but can’t find anyone’s review on an upgrade pad with no brake dust. My factory pads have 40k miles and plenty of pad left but the inside of the rotor is rusted and I’m getting rusty dust on front wheels. Before the rust occurred I never had any brake dust from the oe pads.  I read an article somewhere that the oe pads are akebono ceramic pads but not sure. If there is no better upgraded pad without the dust anyone have the pad part#.  Rockauto list multiple ac delco pads and akebono pads.  I was about to order powerstop z36 pads and new ac delco coated rotors but have seen good and bad reviews for the z36 pads on dust.

The best I have found is the AC Delco Police rotors, which are now bundled with police pads for a reasonable price on Amazon.

My front rotors are warped, while the pads are fine, which is typical on the K2 trucks.

I plan to do the install this Saturday when I get time.

I think these may be what you're in search of. On my 2014, kitting of the rotors with pads didn't yet exist, so I used Suburban pads with Police rotors and it worked fabulously.

Just checked out the police pads and rotors on both Amazon and RockAuto and found them to be a full $100 cheaper on RockAuto as compared to Amazon. Subtotal for the two sets of pads and all 4 rotors was $355 before any tax or shipping (if applicable) on RockAuto and $455 on Amazon... I did not find a kit for my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 specifically on either site, I just added all the individual items to my shopping cart. Just thought I'd share with you guys what I found by looking them up...

You're doing the rears too?

I've never had a problem on rear brakes. It's always the front.

Any chance you guys could help with what part numbers for everything for police pads and rotors?

I just simply went into RockAuto and searched for parts for my pickup (2015 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5.3L)...click on Brake & Wheel Hub->Brake Pad and then scroll past these categories - Heavy Duty, Daily Driver, Economy and Premium in order to find the category Performance (Improved Stopping Power). Raybestos and ACDelco offer both front and rear sets that are marked as Police sets, Bendix offers a front set of Police pads only and there is an additional set of Akebono front pads that are not labeled as Police pads.

Once you click on there, you can pick out the part numbers that are for your application.

Hope that helps!
