Silverado hd vortec 8100 allison trans pcm/tcm

Any one ever run a standalone ecm with the duramax or vortec 8100 with the allison and if so what do you meed to doit and can you run a standalone and the tcm runs the allison or do you need to run a stand alone for the allison too i want to know asap all the different ways to do this
