Noticed at 18k miles when turning slightly left when going around a bend on the highway around 11 on the steering wheel it is sticking and I have to push it back to center. Anyone else have this happen?

Recalibration is needed and if still there then diagnose. There are some issues and it gets very expensive.

I would be curious to know if there's any binding or restriction outside the rack itself. ball joint/tie rod etc. After seeing that mangled ball joint from a level kit, its unlikely, but possible.

Took to my local shop, everything with my level kit looks fine. They think its something to do with the electronic steering assist. Going to take it into the dealer to have them take a look and hopefully reprogram it.

Noticing this same issue on my 2021 Silverado. 65k miles on it. Bought it used but noticed the steering wheel sticking when going around a bend. Did you end up finding out a fix?

I am having a problem with my 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 steering "sticking/binding" when going around a bend on the highway. It is most noticeable at highway speeds and seems to get worse the longer the drive. The dealer has had the vehicle for two weeks and is now saying they believe that the rack needs to be changed. Does anyone else have the same issue?
