06 Sierra 2500 HD rear axle hub seal part numbers

My truck is a Duramax and I am trying to get the correct seals for the rear hubs. There are two parts; the lip seal and the sleeve. What are the part numbers for these?

The sleeve inner diameter is 2.838". The lip seal inside diameter is 3".

Thanks

The rear axle seal is a 1 piece unit that actually spins inside itself to work correctly. The ones I buy from Napa are all one piece and I put them on with no lube as they fit tight on the hub and internally rotate.  The gear oil goes outside the axle to the cover plate, then back and up a little to the bearing.

For my '04, the inner hub seal is National Oil Seal #710568.  It should be the same for you, but there's a small possibility you need a different part number due to my truck having a 10.5" diff and yours having an 11"(or 11.5").

It's a single-use seal, as it generally gets damaged when you remove the hub from the axle.

Make sure you get the old inner part of the axle before installing the hub with the new seal, as sometimes the seal will separate when you remove the hub.

Make sure you adjust the parking brake shoes as close as possible to the drum, as the passenger side can be a pain to adjust due to limited clearance between the frame/spring pack and back of the dust shield.

You may also want the axle shaft flange gasket.  I generally reuse the existing gasket, but after a number of times, they can leak, so I keep a spare to put on if it does.
