back seat won’t lock down

So I went to car wash and washed rear floor mats and vacuumed underneath the rear seats, now the 60/40 seat “40 seat” won’t lock down in place any trick for this?

Yeah their factory but I want Denali seats  the 2014 have the hard plastic behind the seat. @pgamboa

My 2018 rear seats don't "lock" in place. They fold up and down but there is no kind of latch on them.

Well I mean they usually pressure lock in place When I push them back down but right now I guess u can say one side isn’t locking down as u can tell it’s kinda up in the first picture

Yeah.. so there is no “lock” in the down position.

I see what you are saying now. Did you try sitting on it and see if that helps? Seat belt interfering with it?

Well the bigger side actually feels like it’s locked in place the smaller side doesn’t feel like it, it’s still popped up for some reason not even level anymore I hardly lift the seat up.

Mine have never "locked down," there's no release switch for them.

Lol na I didn’t try that I just kept trying to slam it down with my arm

Look for the side trims/seat belt buckles etc. Those seem to cause the resistance.

Hopefully soon lol still needing that camera harness for camera in motion. I’m not waste my work money on any upgrades so far all my upgrade are from buying and selling parts this way I don’t have to hear the wife complain about me spend $$$

Idk I sat on that side didn’t do anything idk maybe That’s the way it is, can somebody look at their back seat and post a picture
