SILVER SLED Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 I hope not, kinda. I’m only wondering this because it seems to be GMs M.O. is to make a limited availability motor more available just before it comes to an end. For example the ls2 was put in a Trailblazer, the ls7 was put in a Camaro in the last year or so of production. So since now the 6.2 is available in Tahoe’s and Suburban’s and now mid/lower level Silverados, maybe it’s gonna be replaced. Maybe GM will make a 6.6 for the 1500 Silverados. I know, probably not, maybe some huge change no one has thought of. But, with the 6.2 now just edging out competition and falling short of Fords HO 3.5 in the Raptor and now in the Limited, it may be time for an upgrade. Who knows. Just sayin.
