Vibration on 1-2 shift. 2008 Silverado.

I've noticed theres a noticable vibration on the 1-2 shift. Gets into gear and all is fine after that. Tranny doesnt slip. The vibration mostly happens when I'm accelerating slow but not when I floor it. Doesnt happen all the time either more like after 30 min of driving. What do you guys think? I have 135k miles on the truck. Should I do a trans flush?

How many miles are on your vehicle?  When was the last time you had the transmission fluid changed?

135K and possibly never had a flush. Start with a filter and fluid and test it, if you are still having the issue it could me more torque converter related or internal. I would just keep driving it unless it's really bad.

A bad torque converter can mess up the crank shaft. I have replaced a few that had excessive end play due to failed torque converter, but the torque converter was knocking and obviously bad.

I checked the fluid last night looked pretty pinkish still but I'll ask around at shops whats the charge.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? My 08 Silverado is doing the same thing right now. 140k miles too

my 2013 Silverado doing same. was thinking bad converter. transmission shop said it was and replaced with new. seemed to stop for a while then started again. Shop says it's not transmission. no one seems to know. looking for answers....
