Right now I have 5 buttons

-pedal adjustment

-traction control

-cargo / bed lights

-parking sensors

-hill descent

is it possible to add a button for the running boards without adding anything else?

If you have a 2014-2015 truck, your fuse block will be missing the OEM Factory Power Fuse. The harness I now offer on the website includes an in-line 30amp fuse. This eliminates the need for purchasing a replacement fuse block (~$165 savings). If you want to get the fuse block, I need to know in advance ofthe build so I can build it to that OEM fuse block spec.

There is an instrument panel switch that allows for board enable/disable and manual manipulation of the board. This switch runs about $65 from GM. Most don’t need it, but there are a few modules where the cluster said “Press and Hold Running Board Button to Enable Boards”. Without that switch, you can’t perform that command if needed. There is a workaround if you have Hill Descent Control.

Hope this helps. Please note that we have been closed from 10/30 - 11/12. So if you order, there will be an estimated 2-3 week lead time.

Hope to see you soon.

Send me a PM.  I am playing catchup today and can take a call.  That should be the right switch.  If you want to keep it as OEM as possible, you'll need the fuse block.  Part # 84075773.
