Steering wheel/navigation system

Has anyone had trouble with the steering wheel making an air noise when turning the wheel?  It just sounds like air escaping every time the wheel is turned.  The GM dealer quoted us a price of $750 and then that might not fix it.  "They all do this" was the response.  Ours never did until recently.  

 

Then the navigation system quit working. It started jumping all over.  From the Atlantic to the Pacific just going down the road.  That quote was around $500 because "the system is shot" .  This is a 2015 and it doesn't seem that we should be having these issues AT ALL!  Very disappointed with GM and these responses.  Especially for the amount of money these vehicles cost.  This is our first and last GM product.
