BLOG: One Year Review of my 2018 Chevy Suburban

Hi folks! Wrote a 1 year review blog of my 2018 Chevy Suburban.

 

First time truck owner, first time American vehicle owner. "WE" love the Burb, my wife included. Just today it brought home the massive air hockey table from Costco that's on sale for $299 in store, but $469 online due to delivery fees. That sucker is 92x50" and weighed a freaking ton, but I stuffed the whole thing in the Suburban today and just updated the blog. It costs me about $500 extra in fuel bills per year versus the Chevy Traverse that I was almost going to buy, but it's paid for itself many times over in terms of utility and hauling ability, and time and productivity not wasted by being able to haul everything myself. 

 

The Suburban has been a truly awesome purchase. Zero regrets.

Ya i saved delivery charges  on about 800+ pounds of laiminate  when we did our top floor in our houae. Brought home  a 65 inch flat screen. Life is much easier  when you can haul many things with you. Money saved on road tripping , having large items like coolers and portable bbqs chairs tables with you to save from eating out. Its a versatile vehicle.  Improves the quality of life.  We had a family visit from out of country and saved having  to rent another vehicle from taking them around.  Seating 8 people was exactly  what we needed. And numerous times family  outings we reduce number vehicles by packing up everyone into the burb its like a bus but drives  like a car

Another happy Suburban owner (we're on number 4 as a family... 2003 Z71, 2004 3/4 ton, 2006 Denali XL, this 2016). So far 102k effortless miles and just did a 500 mile round trip across Alaska in extreme conditions without issue!

 

Glad you're liking yours, we love ours and enjoy the peace of mind it brings to our remote life... here it is getting home to 10~ inches of snow after the Thanksgiving weekend away.
