Rubber Flooring

Here was something I was considering getting because of the extreme horse/dirt usage of the truck I'll be getting and carpet would probably drive me crazy on cleaning... does anyone know what the rubber flooring looks like or have any pictures? I haven't seen any and I'm sure very few people actually request it...

LOL, Nice!! They should just take the floor out and you can hang your feet below so the dirt and stuff drops on the ground. My '72 F-150 had this option in it, but kinda scary at freeway speeds.

BUT, I got the catch-all extreme rubber mats, and they do catch-all!! I am so happy with them. Your carpet will be like new, the catch-all's fasten to the carpet, so they dont slide around and get dirt under them, well, not ALL the dirt. My uncle got the rubber flooring in his DMAX, and they are nice and easy to clean, but I THINK (non educated guess), you will be able to re-sell it easier with carpet. :nono:

yea that's what I was thinking as far as the carpet goes... plus, that rubber wasn't the kind that I was hoping for. I was hoping to see barred thick heavy duty rubber...the pics provided above look more like cheap welcome mats.

Pull out the rubber and line-x the floor boards.. :nono:

That is a serious consideration here for the '61. What ever it gets it sure wont be carpet.

Although I hace not owned these, I have seen them, and they are sharp. They are diamond plate floormats. Check them out [/emailwww.diamondplatefloormats.com

] They are indestructable.
