Shock/strut or front end component issue?

Hey folks-  I'm looking for opinions/suggestions on what could be causing a noise coming from the front suspension of my truck.  Truck detail: 2014 Silverado double cab, 5.3 2WD, stock 18 rims with stock size Michelin Defenders (6k miles on the tires).  Truck odo has a little over 60k on original shocks/struts.

When it first got cold here in Houston, near 40 degrees i drove over a dip and noticed a groan noise in the front end area of the truck...didn't hear it again until the next batch of cold weather when i rolled over a speed bump. Now I'm hearing it much more often as I roll over a speed bump or the same dip that is in my company's parking garage.  It really sounds like someone stepping on an old worn mattress...that groan noise as the strings are being compressed.  I think it's my shocks/struts but a buddy told me it seems like it could be suspension parts, like tie rod ends...perhaps needing some lubrication.

What do you all think?  I'd like to get it fixed while I'm off on vacation.  I appreciate the help!

My bet is sway bar mounts, next time it creaks get some silicone spray or something similar into the two rubber mount that go round the bar up to the frame. If the noise goes away that should be the problem.

Mine does it usually in damp weather or after getting wet & drying out. Haven't got round to sourcing better versions yet.

Mine used to creak a lot and rattle, too. Turned out to be one of my shocks up front was shot.
