Im running a Alpine X-a70F on the front stage 70A Fuse 120rmsx4
rear speakers on on a audiocontrol ACM 4.300 bridged 150rmsx2
DSP is a alpine pxe-8050s 30 amp fuse

bass amp is rockford t1500-bdcp pushes like 1800-1900rms x 1ohm

Ok good deal im running 1000w myself. If you havent yet run a ground from the curren batt to the frame and from amp ground to the frame. That will complete your ground circuit better. You might even notice a difference.

Im sure it would be fine if I ran the system as is,  but i dont want to put unnecessary strain on the electrical system of the truck.  I also have a lot of lights installed as well.

Totally agree on the alternator. I most deffinetly would the grounds as i did. I noticed a little over .5 difference from front to back with the second battery.

im just having a real hard time deciding what alternator to purchase.

im goign to stay away from the second bettery for now but will be running multiple groupds.  I have 2 1/0 runs to the back and will have 2 1/0 grounds to the frame and 1 1/0 to the body.  will be doing a few 1/0 grounds in the engine bay but using the ground sensor.  I wish i could use 2 of them to make it easier to run grounds.

1 sensor will be enough. Go US alt and make sure to get a negative post to the back half of the alternator. That's where the negative power comes from. Take that straight to the batt and your set charging wise. Later on pickup another batt.
I was going to do the stock 3500 alternator, but just fried the stock batt due to unplugging that hall sensor.

thats what i was afraid of doing.  i do see guys getting a self excite and just living with the dash light.

Yes i agree us alternator i think is the move.  I am hearing mixed reviews about mechman,  some people say they last for years some people have bad experiences.  this is my daily, work truck,

I think I'm also going to replace the stepentine belt.

I just finished up my connections and will let you know how my setup works. Im still using the stock 140 or 150 amp alternator. I think in your instance id go 94r up upfront. Those same guys are likely missing the ground to the alternator and frame and using the seat bolt as a ground. I tried like that as it seems to be a common on this forum. SMH not the way to go. My amps were getting hot. The bass is more solid, no noise and gained .5 volts. No brainer. How are you liking the system this far? I need to pickup some 6x9s for the fronts. The 6-1/2s Memphis sr mids in the rear ballance the mids out really nicely.

i went way overboard and did 3 layers of sound deading in each door and made thermoformed plastic panels to cover to window openings.  i drilled and pressed threaded inserts into the doors so the panels are removable for window motor access.  I'm running focal ps165fc components in the front run active off of the alpine amp. focal pc165f coaxials in the rear running off a 2 channel mini audio control amp.  Im using the pac amp pro to integration into the factory screen for chime control.

the midbass is nuts.  right now i have the tweeter pods screwed into the sail panels but when i have some more time i will make some custom rings and body work them in!

I will be running a lot of grounds.  I ordered the northstar battery group 94 and some knu concepts battery terminals.

Nice! Yep the factory sound is ok for some, but once you go aftermarket the diff is night and day. Clarity and volume are way better.

That battery will help out tremendously I bet. Mine allowed me to full tilt and only drop to 13.8. I'll be getting that 3500 alternator after I get the 94r and isolator. Id be interested to see your results charging wise after you put that new battery in tho.

Nice! I think D4S is where I plan to get some cresendo 6x9s from. Need more mids up front in the doors. Been thinking about going active but idk im maxed out space wise as is now.

Get components for the front. This is my second stereo redo I had the tweets in the dash first. There are a few company’s that make mounts. Sound damping is the key

Ill look around for some components. I just need a good set that'll handle 100w. Tweets maybe 25w most.

Do you have the center console? There is tons of room under there. Eventually down the road I’m going to do 4 x8 v3 get another Rockford amp and move the highs amp and dsp under the console.

That’s where I hid my previous amp alpine pdx v5
