L82 5.3 Stock engine

No camshaft, intake/exhaust and tune is adding 140 horsepower. That is supercharger type added power from a TVS1900 blower. That would be like saying I can cam a 6.2 and make nearly 600 horsepower.

 

These are good engines but that's just not real world numbers. We run full accessories through an automatic transmission and a 10/14 bolt rear end with heavy ass wheels and tires.

 

It makes 355hp stock and it'll make over 400 at a crank with those above mods. A healthy NA 5.3 will some mods should put down mid 300's to the tire pretty easy.
