I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado it has the nav feature but it won’t let me use it. Is there a way for me to use the nav without onstar or do I have to get onstar to use it

I believe in the 14s the only nav available is onstar nav and yes you have to pay for it. You can upgrade your hmi module to get android auto or Apple car play, but that's not cheap either. However there's no monthly subscription for it. There's a few threads on here that discuss the steps needed for the upgrade.

What trim level do you have, and what size screen?
