Muffler delete 2019 silverado

So I have a few questions. I am sure they may have already been answered in other post but I figure I will ask anyways. I have a 2019 silverado with the single side exit exhaust. I am considering doing a muffler delete. What are the pros and cons? Will I need a tune? I want to do a full exhaust but I am not sure if its worth the money. Also I live in new england so rust is a mild concern.  Let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks.

It's easy, doesn't require a tune and just make sure they weld in a stainless steel pipe properly.

My advice would be to remove the muffler but leave the resonator in place.  I would also recommend getting rid of the flapper valve, but that would depend on whether your truck has AFM or DFM?

If DFM, remove the flapper.  If you have AFM, then if you remove the flapper, you will want to get a Range box to force the truck to stay in 8 cyl mode so you don't get the helicopter sound when cruising down the road.

Do you know if doing a muffler delete will void my warranty?

Shouldn’t.  No way that not having a muffler is going to cause a mechanical malfunction for them to deny the claim...

That’s how I did mine. Stainless steel 3” straight pipe deleting only the muffler and flap using stainless steel band Style clamps and hardware. Granted I do have the custom with dual exit unlike you but I love it. It’s not too loud but definitely wakes up the sound on my 19’ 5.3

Can’t seem to post a video but it sounds better than any muffler replacement video I’ve heard

Upload it to YouTube and then link it

So I talked to my exhaust guy. He said that he has done a muffler delete on a few 2019's. He said most of them sounded great but lost performance due to not enough back pressure. He is recommending a borla atak muffler with the flap delete. Thoughts?
