Afm disable

I have an 08 silverado with 212000 miles.  It still runs and drives great.  I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to disable the active fuel management on a silverado with over 200000 miles.  I was just wondering if it would do more harm than good

It can't harm anything as it's just stopping one of the functions of the lifter.

 

It's up to you if you want it off.

That's a lot of miles at this point and if it's running good why sink the extra money into it.
