Headers

I own a 2014 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2L and I was planning on getting the XForce Headers/Y-Pipe. To anyone with a 6.2 that added longtubes, did you see any mpg/hp gains? What deletes would I have to do as well as any other changes? Thanks.

Headers can add anywhere from 15-25hp, maybe slightly more but there are so many variables. You'll need/want a tune to go with the headers because they change the horsepower/torque curve as well as fueling. Check engine lights will also be thrown depending on the y-pipe setup.

 

If they don't come with cats, the exhaust will be stupid loud and raspy as hell depending on the rest of the exhaust you have.
