Monitors

Despite performing a drive cycle and driving for a week, I cannot get the monitors ready for an emissions check. Any advice?

I also suspect that the monitors reset after pulling my Range AFM Disabler. Anybody else have this problem?

Some vehicles are very picky about their drive cycles. Whats the YMM and we can help you lookup the proper cycle.

Some go into open loop during idle, meaning a fault lies somewhere, that will restart cycle,i.e.,low temp, inactive o2's

I bought the truck from a GMC dealership in October and I am the second owner. The drive cycle should be done by now. I'm thinking that the Range AFM Disabler reset the monitors when I pulled to have the state-mandated emissions check.

Make sure that your fuel tank is less than half full before doing a drive cycle and that the engine is cold (as in having sat overnight).  In order to run at least one of the EVAP tests, the fuel tank has to be be below a certain level in order to create an adequate vacuum to test the system integrity.  I know that the official line is that the fuel system must be between 15 - 85% of capacity in order for the test to be run, but being below 50% helps greatly.  Also, make sure that there is less than 11 degrees Fahrenheit difference between the ambient air sensor and the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Good luck!
