current pricing on new 2019 in colorado

my brother is looking for 2019 2500hd and found one with 5k off MSRP....seems like he could do better but idk, anyone scored any deals on these like they had in dec?

I just put a deposit on one @ 12,000 off the MSRP. The best deals I found shopping were $13,000 off the sticker but most were in the 9,000-12000 off MSRP. There is a 4000 customer cash rebate a $750 if you have another gm (loyalty discount) and then the dealers where taking off another 4-7,000.... Like I said the one I'm picking up next week was 12k off which made it a no brainer over a low mile used truck. If hes willing to travel he should be able to do better.

$5k off sticker is crap. He should be able to get $10-12 off. The 2020 models are out and a leftover 2019 is dropping in value.

yeah I know.....I told him to go to Laura and had a few others out of state.....I am the deal/shopper finder, him not so much....also I will buy and or wait for best times....he came out to California in December and saw my 2019 Silverado and when he got home next thing he says is he wants to buy a truck... xmas or black Friday would have been better....I said he should at least get 20% off and he could have got a 2020 2500 HD @ Laura for cheaper than the 2019 he bought...I think he got like 5k off,  but what do ya do.....point the camel to water hole and rest is up to them......

 

I think for sure 12k is neighborhood he should have shot for......I don't pay attn to incentives too much, I let them figure it out.....I shoot for a number I know people are getting and dealers are selling for and let the circus begin.....may take some time and research but well worth it
