Auto-Lock with engine running

So this is first time posting on this forum. A little overwhelmed at the number of posts, but I have owned more than one change over model in my life, that said, this truck up until last week it would auto-lock 5 seconds after the door closed. No matter if the engine was running or not. If the engine was running then the horn would double chirp, if not then it would single. I thought and still do think this is normal operation of the passive locks. Okay I pulled the travel trailer to town checking out the hitch setup and running some errands. I parked, hit the start button got out, closed the door, and it double chirped, I thought that was weird, so when I came back I realized the truck was running, I thought okay that’s why it double chirped, I opened the door, got in and there was a notice that said key fob not recognized. I thought okay it’s running so I’m trucking home. All went well. Next day was trash pickup, I have a long driveway so I tow the trash receptacle to the road, leave the truck running, jump out close the door no double chirp. Okay at 4 am I didn’t think about it too hard I just unhooked the trash, jumped back in and headed off to work, once there no single chirp. I turned the passive back on that afternoon. Now with engine off all is well, with engine on it double chirps but leaves the driver door open. Anybody else have this problem? Know what to do to fix it? Dealer updated the truck today so it has the latest and....well okay it has the latest update.

I have heard the double chirp but seemed to only do that if I get out of the truck and leave the keyfob INSIDE? The truck seems to recognize the fob location and in certain situations will chirp at you.

I am not 100% sure of the parameters. Might be something in the owners manual maybe?

I have only driven this 19 for a little over 600 miles so I have not really examined it very closely..................
