I checked with Rough Country and they said it would work with a 6" block. That's what I have so I think they will work.

The mounting brackets on the bottom of the frame will just be a little closer to the rear end or am I missing something?

This truck will never see any off road so I think they will be fine. Rough Country or not . It's just a piece of sheet steel welded . No brain surgery.

They won't work. Too short.

I contacted a seller on eBay I've used before and here's what he said....

Thank you for your interest! I spoke with one of our Rough Country reps regarding your lift height, and he said they market these as 0"-7.5" of front lift. Due to the pivot angle between the bar itself and the rear axle bracket, he thinks it would create a contact point when installed on anything taller. I mentioned moving the frame bracket back like you suggested, and he said they already have the frame bracket positioned at the rear-most portion of the frame before it arches up. Let us know if you have any further questions!

I'm liking these. They are universal fit weld on tabs to axle housing bolt bracket to frame. Easy. Solid.
