Every so often there is what sounds like a static discharge coming from the dash, not as bad as my 2014, any one ever hear this noise

I have this issue as well. It sounds like it is coming from my driver side speaker. I asked a dealer about it and they couldn't duplicate it. I'm not sure what is causing it.
