ok so I recently had experienced  a issue with my truck went to work and when I went to leave truck would start but then die in a few secs thought it was fuel pump but finally started after 20 attempts then when I took off the security light came on and stayed then when I got home shut it off started fine for a few weeks then one day left me stranded so I have replace ignition switch new key and tumbler and did a 10 min key on off relearn process 3 times still doing same thing so now I have a issue of when turning key over all my dash light come on then when trying to start it kills all lights and no crank then when I let the key go back to the on position the dash lights come on so I tested the starter rely so what I did was turn the key to the on position and when to relay under hood that was starter relay and I made a jumper wire hooked wire to number 87 on rely installed relay and took other end of wire to positive battery will start and run for 4 to 5 secs then die now I know that the relearn process may not of took so I have to charge the battery over night and try this relearn again also before I changed tumbler key and ignition switch wire harness out I had remote start hooked to truck every once in a wile I could get truck to start with remote start but will not start with old key nor new key now my question is what could be the issue if I can get it to crank and run by jumping the starter relay but not at the key even if the relearn didn't take it still should have started before but immediately die right? please any help would be great thank you

The video is almost 3 years old?

If your truck is doing the exact same thing then the comments are stating that its a bad ground cable.

the cables can get corroded underneath the insulation as well.

^^^Whagt he said^^^

Cable corrosion can't always be seen and doesn't just happen on the ends of the cable.

Disconnect the ground cable at both ends and grab the lug at end of cable and twist it in all directions, looking for any white powder coming out of cable right where the black plastic insulation ends.  Do this at both ends.  Also look under where the relay is plugged in for corrosion.
