Line Level Input

I have a 2018 Silverado. When I switch from radio, cd, or sat radio to my phone (CarPlay) I have to turn the volume up to almost max to hear it at a decent level. The volume on the phone is all the way up, so it’s not from that source.

My question is, is there a way to adjust the line-input level to evenly match the other sources??

Most time it is the connection via blutooth thats a draw back. To help diagnose this. See if you can figure a way to play vids on you tube via carplay. The sound should increase.

You have to turn up when in Carplay?  

 

Carplay, I assume you have an iPhone?  What type of cord do you have in the truck to plug into?  Apple brand or some other brand?
