Steering wheel controls.

Is it possible to take the steering wheel out of my 2004.5 GMC duramax and install in my 2005 Chevy Silverado with duramax?

No.  As you approach the Chevy with your GM wheel, the wheel will break free from your hands and start clubbing you in the head for daring to try doing such a thing.

 

But, if you survive the clubbing, you can eventually stuff it on.  Course, then you need to watch out for the wheel constantly trying to crash the truck when you drive it.
