Paul, I've seen the BCM where the blue and white get spliced into like you said, but I dont have those BCM's.  Only a grey and brown, mines a 23 LT 3500

 

How could these trucks not have the same BCM's?

How could these trucks not have the same BCM's?

The 1500's and 3500's are far from the same electrically. Try the body builder's manuals and compare, the schematics in there have the BCM pinouts.
