Radio Antenna

Anyone who replaced their factory antenna with a short one having reception issues? Looking into one but dont want to sacrifice reception

I replaced mine with the 6.75 inch antenna from “theantennasource” .  I love it and radio reception seems fine.

A shorter antenna will always affect reception. A shorter antenna not cut to the appropriate wavelength for the frequencies you’re trying to listen to will not “hear” them as well as one that is of the appropriate length. Unless you’re close to the transmitter, of course.

Im usually not more then 35 miles away from the stations i listen to. Also i thought maybe some companies could condense the coil so it still worked well enough
