Best Shocks

Recommended Posts

I am approaching 100K miles on my truck and need to replace shocks. What is the recommended aftermarket replacement? I was thinking Bilstein or Rancho but can't really decide.

Go with Edelbrock's. Best ride on- and off-road that I have ever experienced.

:D Im going to second the edelbrocks . I have them on the front and they are smooth

on the rear I have air shocks those are some heavy duty mofos

I put Bilstein HD's on my Rado and the ride is firm, but not harsh. Expansion strips in the concrete no longer make you jump in your seat.

I currently use the Rancho 9000's on 3 different offroad vehicles (all with remote adjustment) because I enjoy the flexability.

BUT, if you want something simpler, then definitely go with the Edlebrocks. They are comparible with the best, and I have not read anything negative about them.

On the otherhand, if your into EXTREME suspension, then give FOX a call and tell them your setup. For around $2.5grand you can get some custom made babies.
