Problem with brakes?!

My ZR2 recently needed a brake job. I did it, and noticed the rear brakes were worn ALOT more than the fronts!

 

So, i replaced everything (new pads and rotors the whole way around)

 

Now, the rears smell really hot evertime i drive the truck.

 

Whats wrong?? A broken proportioning valve? A bad booster?

Sounds like you need to back the rear shoes off of the drums a bit more .

Does it sort of feel like the parking brake is on ?

you could also have a lack of fluid getting to the brakes, check to see if the lines are damaged or melted.

Check to see if the calipers are sticking is the first. Next check the E-brake shoes they use the inside of the rotor and act as a drum. if that doesn't fix it check for a blockage in the line
