New member but have been reading for a while..  Have read through all 30 pages of the 2019+ leveled trucks thread and still don't see what I'm looking for.  Seems like Motofab and others once made a 1.5" level specific for the AT4/Trailboss but has discontinued it.  Trying to decide what's best to do here without having UCA balljoint issues.  I really don't want a full 2" level as I tow a good bit on the weekends but the 2" rake is killing me..  Options are listed below?

Motofab 1" lower spacer (CH-1LM-TB) motofab website shows it unavailable?

Motofab 1" lower spacer (CH-1LM) listed for non AT4/Trailboss - wonder if this would be ok?

Readylift 1.75" (66-3921) - more expensive option but seems to address issue of balljoint issue and also wouldn't have to decompress the strut to add top spacer?

I see that Rough Country offers a 2" strut leveling kit but in the notes it states that is not for an AT4/Trailboss or the 3.0 diesel.  And have seen some say they are having issues with balljoints with the 1318 kit.

Any others that I am missing?  Or anybody with any of the above that has some mileage with any or no issues want to chime in?

Thanks!

WHat "issues" are you reading about with the RC 1318 on the AT4?  Clearance issues or angle issues or ???  Thx.

Seen a few posts where apparently the UCA balljoint gets in bind with the spindle.  Somebody had picks where the boot was tore from premature wear.

Im happy with my Readylift AT4 level 7000 miles in.

Did you get the 1.75"?  Does it still have some rake to it?

Here is AT4 with Ready Lift SST kit - which included UCA and new rear blocks which are  about 1/2" taller - without the new blocks it was about 0.25" nose high - now about 0.25" rake to back - not noticible.

Concern with level kit is that truck comes from factory with 2" lift - it is commonly known that lifting beyond 2.5" will put the geometry out of spec for cv axel angle - why all good 4" lifts (wihch is what your AT4 will be leveled - (2" factory and 2" +/- to level) have drop brackets for the front diff.

Ready Lift on their site notes they "don't recommend use of auto 4wd".  So you lose that feature for the above reason - I have used my truck in 4wd high without issue, but you are taking a risk with 4" of lift kit without drop bracked of cv axel and/or front diff damage.  So buyer beware!

I posted a photo below of the truck on flat ground, so you can get an idea of cv angles with "no" articulation - not ideal.  But it does look good!

Photo with stock wheels - new blocks were not in - photo with black methods blocks were in.

Truck with Ready lift level kit - without Ready Lift level blocks in rear - about 0.25" nose high - barely tell

Added a 1/2” bottom spacer I had laying around from a 2014. Worked fine and so will most others as some may need a corner of the spacer ground a little. Then got it aligned. I like a little rake as I do use the truck as a truck with some towing and loading the bed. I was considering adding a 1/2” top spacer because anything over that that extra 1” total on top of the factory 2” (3” total”) done right and not damage CV would also require UCA and diff drop like the poster Supercup above so just not worth it to me as it would be only noticeable by me....and I use the 4auto.

Have you considered the Zone offroad 1.75" kit for AT4 and Trailboss? It's the kit I have been looking at for a while. It's an all top mount spacer system to help eliminate the contact with the cv boot. If you read the details of the kit, they actually suggest the full kit for an AT4 but to leave out one of the spacers on a Trailboss as the rake is not as bad.

That is interesting. I think the suspension is the exact same. I wonder why the AT4 has a higher rear...or lower front?  Wheel opening design?

Ground clearance from manufacturer websites:

AT4 GC = 10.9

TB GC = 10.88

seems like GH is just rounding to a significant digit.

You're saying the spacer was .5" thick?  How much did it raise the front and what is the rake now?

That's basically what I was wanting to do with the CH-1LM-TB or CH-1LM from Motofab but not sure what's up with the TB version being listed as unavailable on their site?  And if the non-TB spacer would add more than 1" in height or what if it was designed for a different strut assembly..

I saw that one but just don't really want that much.  If I wanted that much, I would just do the Readylift that comes with new UCA with corrected ball joint angle.

No. The spacer is less than 1/2” thick. It is not a 1:1 ratio. But I only used a bottom set and I was thinking about adding a 1/2” lift top set. Honestly I probably won’t though...not a high priority right now. These spacers are just a simple metal plate so don’t over think it. All spacers lift more than they are thick due to suspension geometry.
